Chevrolet has redesigned its Tahoe model for 2015, giving it more safety, technology and functionality. New safety features include 360 degree radar for passenger safety and crash avoidance, offering lane departure warning, park assist, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision alert, adaptive cruise control and even a safety alert seat with directional vibrations to alert the driver of any accident potential. It also has a front-seat center air bag, interior movement sensors, and a feature that deactivates the key when a certain trigger is tripped.

Technology and functionality enhancements over the Tahoe’s predecessor include almost two inches additional leg room for second row passengers, easier rear-passenger access, flat-folding second and third row seating with available power folding, keyless entry, a panoramic-view conversation mirror, push-button start, up to 6 USB outlets, one three pronged outlet, 8-inch color touch screen and MyLink. As for the design of the new 2015 Tahoe, Chevrolet used premium materials for the interior, projector-beam headlamps, improved fitting for parts providing a quieter cabin, dual-port grille, and LED daytime running lights.

Chevrolet also offers 18-inch wheels standard, electronic variable-assist power steering, four-wheel-disc brake system with Duralife brake rotors with longer service life and magnetic ride control with a real-time damping system. Powering the new Tahoe is a 5.3-liter V8 with cylinder deactivation, which is mated to a Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission. Starting price for the new Tahoe is $44,895.
