The new 2014 BMW 4-Series is taking the world by storm and now BMW has unleashed another variant of the model – the BMW 4 Series Gran Coup. Simply speaking the 4 Series Gran Coupe is a four-door version of the 4 Series Coupe.
“Taking its cue from a large BMW coupe, the new BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe combines a dynamic and sleek silhouette with additional functionality and more spaciousness in the rear passenger compartment.” Won Kyu Kang, exterior designer responsible for the BMW 4 Series.
Ready to take on the U.S. market in early summer of 2014, the 4 Series Gran Coupe will be available as a 428i Gran Coupe and a 435i Gran Coupe. The BMW 428i Gran Coupe will feature a 240hp TwinPower Turbo 2.0-liter 4-cylinder while the 435i Gran Coupe will be powered by the 300-hp TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter inline six.
Following its debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show next month, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe will start at $41,225 for the 428i Gran Coupe and $46,725 for the 435i Gran Coupe.
