Cadillac is launching a pair of fresh designs to grace its showroom floors with the upcoming 4th generation Escalade and all-new 2015 ATS Coupe. The 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe joins the ATS family as sportier member, with its very own design, lighter weight, increased torque and agile handling. Power comes from one of two engines, the first is a 272 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque producing 2.0-liter turbo, the second is a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 321 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. Both rear and all-wheel drive are available. The coupe isn’t shy on options or technology either.  It features the Cadillac Cue system, including an eight-inch LCD touch screen and customizable gauges, as well as passive key entry with push-button start, and OnStar 4G LTE connectivity with a new Wi-Fi hotspot built in, keeping up to seven devices online at the same time. Cadillac has also packed the ATS Coupe with safety features, driven by cameras and sensors that are capable of everything from cruise control to parking assistance. As for the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, this flagship SUV has gotten a luxurious overhaul that still keeps its recognizable Escalade essence. An extended length ESV will be available as well that folds in an extra 14-inches to the wheelbase and 20-inches overall. Like the ATS Coupe, the Escalade also gets the Cadillac CUE system, this one featuring a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Heated and cooled seats are standard up front, while the second row gets heated reclining seats and an available Blue-Ray DVD player. “An exceptional level of craftsmanship has gone into the redesign of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade, and it all centers on the premium materials and extensive use of cut-and-sew live stitching – the way fine furniture is produced,” said Eric Clough, director of design, Cadillac Interiors. “We designed Escalade with what we call the beauty of contrast. It offers a distinctive combination of bold, truck-like character, but also the refinement of the Cadillac form vocabulary and technology.” A 6.2-liter V-8 crafted to be more efficient powers the new Escalade with 420hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The 2015 Escalade has also gotten improvements in handling and stability, safety and security. Starting this spring you will begin to see these two new Cadillac models and all they have to offer at dealers near you.
