Bentley, Lamborghini and Maserati are all planning on getting into the SUV game – however, it seems like Ferrari won’t be following the bandwagon. The luxury Italian automaker has ruled out including a supercar SUV in its current product plans along with ruling out a four-door sedan.

Luca di Montezemolo, soon to be the former president of Ferrari, along with Sergio Marchionne, the new president of Ferrari, dismissed the idea at a recent press conference.

“Marchionne wanted to build a truck,” said di Montezemolo “but I talked him out of it.” Marchionne confirmed di Montezemolo’s remarks.

Also discussing future plans, Marchionne said that there are no plans to integrate Ferrari into Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, saying that “the mixing of their blood would be fatal to both”.
