Now we all know that any prospective 2015 Ford Mustang buyers are dying to find out the fuel-economy figures for the new pony (there is a lot of sarcasm in that sentence). Well, lucky for us the miles per gallon figures for the 2015 Mustang are in and they are looking pretty good.
The 2.3 liter Ecoboost 4-cylinder Ford Mustang will get an impressive 31 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined. On the other hand, the V6 model will get 17/28 mpg (city/highway) when coupled with the manual and 19/28 mpg when mated to the automatic transmission.
We are still waiting on the fuel-economy figures for the V8 powered Mustang but don’t expect them to save you any kind of “mulah” at the gas station.
In other Mustang news, word on the street is that the Dearborn automaker, is talking to suppliers to replace its 6-speed automatic with a 10-speed in order to improve fuel-efficiency.
