When McLaren revealed its new MP4-12C road car back in 2011, many were quick to criticize it’s rather subdued design, and lack of exotic car appeal for its $220k+ price tag. Fast forward to 2014 and it was obvious the folks in Woking were listening as the 650S (which replaces the 12C), was affixed with a striking front end and aggressive touches all around, partly in thanks to it’s big brother P1 HyperCar.

The good news for exotic car buyers looking for a heap of savings off the 12C’s original hefty price of admission is the cars have suffered substantial depreciation. With that being said California based tuner Vorsteiner has shown us a way to get those head turning exotic car looks from the 12C, without fully depleting our savings.

The newest edition to the Vorsteiner line-up is the McLaren MP4-VX. The stunning kit includes a new front bumper, side sill extension blades, rear bumper, and an active wing that can be adjusted within the cockpit at 32 degrees for enhanced downforce.

The McLaren MP4 is constructed around a central carbon fiber monocell chassis which pushed the boundaries for any production vehicle. The Cali-based tuners have built upon their composite innovation by creating a full carbon fiber aero package that works in conjunction with each component included in the kit.

We found roughly 100 12C’s for sale just waiting for you to give it this proper treatment! Have a look here.
