Porsche has recently revealed an all-new model and the automaker’s first entry into the compact SUV segment: the 2015 Macan.

Instantly recognizable as a Porsche, the Macan was designed taking cues from other models in the lineup, and has a wide, low stance to maintain its sport appeal despite its functional nature. The exterior design features large air intakes, halogen headlights, a wraparound bonnet, a sloping roof line and a set of 21-inch wheels.

On the inside, Porsche gave the Macan a sportscar style cockpit, with a multi-function steering wheel, a 4.8-inch color display in the instrument cluster and the options of a Piano Black interior, comfort seats with Alcantara, blushed aluminum and 18-way adjustable power seats with memory.

Two of the engines are offered on the Macan, one for each of the variants of the model Porsche offers. The Macan Turbo comes with a 3.6-liter V6 biturbo engine that puts out 400hp and goes from 0-62mph in 4.8-seconds. Next is the MAcan S, powered by a 3.0-liter V6 biturbo engine that makes 340hp and has a 0-62mph time of 5.4 seconds.

Additional features of the Macan include electro-mechanical power steering, Porsche VarioCam Plus valve stroke system for improved performance, high performance seven-speed transmissions, active all-wheel drive, Porsche traction management, Porsche stability management, off-road mode, a sport button, air suspension, panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control, Porsche active safe, a 7-inch color touch screen, USB, Porsche communication management, Burmester sound system, Aha radio and Porsche car connect with vehicle tracking.

Pricing for the Macan starts at $49,900.
