Porsche has dropped the all-new 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS prior to its world debut at the 2014 LA Auto Show later this month.

“Porsche drivers value thoroughbred sportiness in a car – regardless of whether it has two doors or four,” Porsche said in a statement. “Accounting for 11 percent of the sales, the GTS version of the Cayenne makes up a high proportion of the model mix of Porsche’s most successful range. This high-performance SUV has greatly contributed to the company’s profitable growth, and at the same time, ensures future investment in the broad spectrum of highly dynamic models offered across the entire portfolio.”

Power comes from a 3.6 liter twin-turbo V6 making 440-hp and 445 lb-ft of torque. Mated to Porsche’s renowned PDK transmission, 0 to 62 mph comes in 5.2 seconds with a top speed of 163 mph.

Porsche also adds its Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) damping system that offers a sportier drive for the Cayenne GTS along with brake calipers painted red in typical Turbo fashion.

There are some design upgrades to the GTS to make it more visually appealing along with larger intakes, wider wheel arches, roof spoiler and 20-inch RS Spyder wheels. The inside offers GTS sports seats clad in leather/Alcantara® upholstery, including GTS lettering on the headrests.

The 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS starts at $95,500 and will go on in February 2015.
