The Mercedes-Benz C-Class has always been the brand’s best-selling model so when it came time to completely redesign and upgrade the vehicle, Mercedes-Benz designers and engineers were careful not to lose the heritage on which the car was built but moving forward into modern times.
“Mercedes at its best – that’s the new C-Class, which sets new standards for the mid-range segment on many fronts,” says Prof. Dr Thomas Weber, Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG responsible for Group Research and Mercedes-Benz Cars Development. “It is characterized by an emotional yet clear design which is continued in the high-quality and modern interior. Its efficient and high-performance engineering provides the basis for a high standard of driving enjoyment.”
In the United States the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will launch with two models including the C300 4MATIC and the C400 4MATIC. The C300 4MATIC will come with a 2.0L turbocharged direct-injection in-line four-cylinder engine making 241-hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. The C400 4MATIC will be powered by a 3.0L turbocharged direct-injection V6 making 329-hp and 354 lb-ft of torque.
Prices will be announced closer to launch date however, this means the outgoing model is currently going for a steal at a local Mercedes-Benz store near you.
