BMW has the M3/M4 – Mercedes-Benz has the C63 AMG – Lexus has the IS-F and Infiniti? Well, Infiniti has nothing as of yet but the automaker is planning a competitor to the cars mentioned above and it is not kidding around.

Following the debut of the Infiniti Eau Rouge Concept, the automaker has confirmed that the soon-to-be-produced model will be powered by the Nissan GT-R’s 3.8 liter V6-engine making up to 560-hp and will be mated to a 7-speed gearbox and all-wheel-drive. Those are pretty strong numbers so we here at SpeedList are pretty excited about it.

“A car with such pronounced styling treatments demands the very best in terms of high-performance powertrains, which is why we installed this V6 twin- turbocharged, 7-speed combination as an example of what a potential powertrain for the Q50 Eau Rouge may look and sound like,” said Johan de Nysschen, president of Infiniti Motor Company Limited.

Infiniti says that the estimated run to 60 mph will take less than four seconds and the top speed should hit close to 180 mph – bringing the Eau Rouge into Super Sports Sedan segment.
