BMW 3-Series Coupe

The BMW 3-Series Coupe is the last of its kind, as it is now 4-series. So with this model we’re taking a lustful look back into recent, but highly relevant, history. BMW offered a 328i and a 335i for the 3-series coupe, both of which come in rear wheel drive, with all wheel available (excluding the convertible). The “N55” engine made its debut in this 2011 model, with a 3.0-liter displacement and producing 300hp and 300 lb-ft of torque for the 335i, while the 328i still squeezes out 230hp. What’s special about the N55 is that it marks the return of the turbocharger to BMW’s petrol motors with EfficientDynamtics technology. This motor was made to improve upon the biggest problem with turbocharged engines, ‘turbo lag’. Apart from power, the outside comes with adaptive Xenon headlights and l-shaped taillights unique to the coupe. Interior features include a center console for the rear passengers, leatherette upholstery and ambiance lighting.

Since these are all used models at this point prices will vary, but are well worth it for the driving experience.

Mercedes Benz C-Class Coupe

With stunning looks both inside and out, there is no surprise that the C-Class coupe has a spot on this top three. The C-Class, however, is more than just looks. In matters of performance, two engine options are available to power the coupe, the first of which is a 1.8-liter turbo 4-cylinder that produces 201-hp, and a 3.5-liter V6 that makes 302-hp. Mercedes’ sport tuned suspension was designed for a comfortable ride with quick response, and the C350 offers the option of all-wheel drive. As for technology, adaptive cruise control provides a seriously easy driving experience that paces the car with traffic, and will even fully stop the car. Warning signals such as blind spot assistance are also available thanks to this technology, as well as mbrace, the automaker’s infotainment technology. The exterior includes available bi-xenon headlights and a standard panoramic moonroof.

The Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe starts at $38,200 for the C230, offers a C350 for $43,840, and has an AMG variant that gets you 451hp with all the performance focused extras for $62,750.
