Subaru has completely revamped the Legacy for 2015, giving it more luxury than ever while still proving the driving experience as the only model in its class to offer all-wheel drive as standard.

Power for the new Legacy comes from either a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder boxer engine with 173hp and 174 lb-ft of torque, or a 3.6-liter 6-cylinder boxer with 256hp and 247lb-ft of torque, both mated to a Lineatronic Continuously Variable Transmission.Three variants are available, with the 2.5-liter 4-cylinder powering the Standard, Premium and Limited, while the 6-cylinder 3.6R powers the Limited at the top of the line.

Electronic Power Steering, Incline Start Assist and electronic Hill Holder System are all included performance features.

New available luxury features include perforated leather upholstery, three-mode heated front seats, 10-way power driver’s seat with two memory settings, a 4-wway power front passenger seats, heated rear seats with two settings and a 12-speaker harmon/kardon surround sound system.

The redesign also includes a lighter aluminum hood, an active grille shutter system to reduce wind drag, rear view camera, rollover sensor with airbag deployment, standard welcome lighting and keyless access and start. New safety features such as Lane Change Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Pre-Collision Braking, Lane Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and Steering Responsive Fog lights.

The interior gets more room than its predecessor, a sporty gauge cluster, a 6.2-inch multifunction infotainment system with tablet-like functionality, HD Radio, iPod connectivity and USB.
