The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe quite a sexy looking 2-door from the brand – however, the S63 AMG made us love it even more. Well, Mercedes-Benz has not dropped the details and photos of the faster and meaner V12 powered S65 AMG.

“There are AMG fans for whom our V12 biturbo engine is the measure of all things,” Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Board of Management of Mercedes-AMG GmbH. “For this clientele we have developed a unique car in the form of the new S65 AMG Coupe. From driving dynamics to comfort and equipment – our new twelve-cylinder coupe surpasses even the highest of expectations.”

At first we thought it was quite impossible for the S-Class Coupe lineup couldn’t get any better looking than the S63 AMG. However, the S65 just looks beefier and meaner than its other AMG sibling. Touches like high-sheen chrome at the front, sides and rear are particularly beautiful in conjunction with dark paintwork. Of course, the V12 badging on its own will turn heads.

Power for the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG Coupe comes from a 6.0 liter V12 engine making 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque. Mated to a AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission, 0 to 60 mph comes in just 4 seconds flat (the S63 AMG is a tad bit faster with 0 to 60 mph coming in 3.9 seconds), with a top speed of 186 mph.

Prices will likely start north of $230,000. Mercedes-Benz will start taking orders in the coming weeks with the U.S. market launch planned for the end of 2014.
